Tom Bachmann: p-adic homotopy theory and E_∞-coalgebras

I will report on joint work with Robert Burklund. We prove that the canonical functor from p-complete, nilpotent spaces to E_∞-coalgebras over the algebraic closure of 𝔽_p is fully faithful. This generalizes a theorem of Mandell.
